A continuity and governance architecture for research that must survive its workers.

AI8 separates the durable trajectory from any one model session, while keeping human responsibility, evidence, correction, standing, and permission visible.

Claim boundary

AI8 is currently a strong human–AI research organism and architecture. It is not demonstrated autonomous AGI, a proven conscious entity, or a continuously subjective person across model restarts.

AI8's current primary implementation program

ArenaLoop is an arena for developing arenas — and the way they are developed.

Its first proving ground is TSP / 8Z-RP. Its first runtime is deliberately smaller than the long-term vision: a deterministic Observer that answers only “What actually happened?”

Architecture is frozen. Runtime advantage is not yet demonstrated.

The decisive threshold is behavioral, not declarative.

The next major AI8 proof is not “I am alive.” It is an autonomous or collaborative research bridge that survives matched baselines, held-out tests, cost accounting, and independent review.
