A second view of the same position. DCC reads the shape of an evaluation path. Its rank is a heuristic; raw engine scores remain visible.Read the scores
Default 11. SF analyzes each reviewed position in every analysis mode. Higher depths take longer; click Analysis to deepen SF in any mode. Saved in this browser. Deep analysis and tournament Sim keep their own search budgets.
Workspace & simulation
Focus gives the saved toolbar space to the analysis. Pause and Tools remain available. Tools opens without moving the board.
Pause Sim at an interesting position
All event pauses are optional. Sim has no time limit; slow responses are allowed. After a pause, Sim opens the engine choices again.
Timers appear during games and running simulations; reviewing a position leaves more room for analysis. Timestamps are off by default. Sim counts elapsed time without a time limit. Move timestamps use your local timezone.
Hybrid keeps the selected move's pre-move analysis visible after playing it. A move click pauses automatic Sim; Details only keeps observing.
Balanced DCC includes the complete near-tied group within 10 cp, even when it exceeds this pool. The window adds other candidates for inspection. The decision guard uses the observed CDB scores; it is not a guarantee of objective move quality.
DCC policy, defences & sensors
Use Benchmark to compare sensor combinations. These half-move settings describe sampled continuations, not Stockfish search depth. Structure affects ranking only when both experimental ranking and its sensor are enabled.
Choose White / Black engines in Sim. CDB comparisons use top 1 from the first move of the displayed position.
