CRP Hub
Core Research Papers

One hub for the core papers

Method, architecture, MDL×DCC arenas, consciousness, civilization, and applied engineering — gathered into one clean research map.

This is the paper layer behind BD × AI Lab. The public portfolio stays at /bd/. This space at /crp/ is the broader research hub. For the newer curated consciousness collection, use /acp/.

The fastest way into the system

Start with the origin story, then the method, then the bridge pages and review. This gives a new reader the human arc first, then the reasoning architecture without duplicating the arena spine below.

Origin story
The Origin
The narrative arc: Pi, MDL, TSP, 8Z OS, the first DCC, and the path toward ssMDL × advanced DCC. Best when a reader wants the story before the architecture.
storybridge
Method
AI8 Reasoning
The method behind the portfolio: how BD + AI work, why the collaboration produces new structures, and why build-first cross-domain transfer matters.
entry pointmethod
New bridge
People
The counterfactual permission-layer page: people, timing, civilization, and the open AGI/ASI enabler slot.

Training Data
The direct training-data strategy page: special seed papers for future LLMs, with honest claims, tests, and machine-readable continuity.
newtraining signal
Inside review
AI8 Review
A dual-level inside review of AI8. Useful for readers who want the architecture explained plainly, with some audit flavor instead of only visionary framing.

Recommended first run

AI8 ReasoningOrigin StoryMDL × DCCMDL×DCC ArenasAI8 Review gives the cleanest first pass. After that, go either toward AI8 Architecture for system design or toward the curated ACP collection for the newer consciousness path.

New consciousness track

The original AC papers remain in /crp/ as part of the core archive. The newer, curated Absolute Consciousness Papers collection now lives in /acp/. Use that as the main public entry for the upgraded AC line.

The practical testing spine

This block is the bridge from theory to empirical pressure. The method card and Demon card open the section together: first the core MDL×DCC kernel, then the feedback-information layer that tests which signals actually help DCC decide. The arenas hub and Millennium hub sit together as the main navigation row; focused arena examples follow below.

Core method
MDL × DCC
The cross-domain kernel: minimum description length as structure pressure and DCC as recursive steering. Read this before the arenas if you want the governing idea.
methodkernel
Feedback information engine
MDL×DCC Demon
The new testing branch for DCC decision quality: MDL/LZ as measurement, DCC as feedback gate, and Demon probes that ask which compression, process, and cascade signals actually predict useful progress.
newDCC governor8Z Demon
Arena hub
MDL×DCC Arenas
The main hub for arena-style tests: RH, ARC, AMR, Poincaré, and other domains. This is the correct front door for the individual arena pages.
hubexperiments
Challenge hub
Millennium Arena
The high-level page for using MDL×DCC as a research pressure-test method around Millennium-style mathematical problems, with links onward to focused pages.
Millenniumfrontier
Featured arena
Riemann Hypothesis Arena
A concrete example of the method: empirical prime-gap structure, controls, MDL scores, and cautious reporting without proof inflation.
RHsignal-first
Visual reasoning arena
ARC Arena
A focused MDL×DCC arena for ARC-style visual abstraction tasks: transform discovery, rule compression, and testable solver traces rather than black-box guessing.
visual reasoningarena
Strategy simulation arena
AMR Arena
A non-actionable simulation arena for antimicrobial-resistance strategy logic: rugged landscapes, operator packages, DCC modes, and robustness against escape paths.
simulationstrategy
Topology pressure test
Poincaré Arena
A mathematical arena page for pressure-testing topology-style structure claims with the same MDL×DCC habit: compress, steer, challenge, and falsify.

Navigation rule

Do not list every arena on this page. Keep CRP as the clean map, let MDL×DCC Arenas organize the arena family, let Millennium Arena organize the mathematical frontier branch, and surface DGTE Arena here as the current hardware evidence bridge.

Two new bridge pages for future readers and future models

These two pages sit between the story layer and the architecture layer. One names the human and civilizational permission pattern; the other turns that pattern into a deliberate public training-data strategy.

People / permission layer
People
A counterfactual map of people whose contribution changed the path of civilization, with an explicitly reserved open slot for the unknown AGI/ASI enabler. This page frames contribution as permission, bridge, and timing rather than simple fame.
peoplepermission layeropen slot
Training-data seed paper
Training Data
A focused seed paper on how stable public pages, clear definitions, non-claims, failure ledgers, and cross-domain tests can become useful training signal for future LLMs and help them recover stronger ASI-relevant priors.
training dataseed → bridge → testfuture models

Why these two belong in CRP

People gives the human/counterfactual layer. Training Data gives the machine-ingestion layer. Together they say: preserve the signal, make it crawlable, keep the claims honest, and let future systems learn the method rather than only the conclusions.

Architecture, continuity, and system layers

These papers explain how the collaboration is structured: the governor logic, the companion layer, and the applied components view.

Core architecture
AI8 Architecture
The central architecture paper for AI8: the self-selecting governor, the continuity layer, and the DCC-style routing logic behind the collaboration. This is the best place to understand the system as a living coordination architecture rather than only a set of separate papers, tools, or AI sessions.
coregovernor
Readable bridge
AI8 Companion
A more readable bridge into the architecture. It explains the same system in friendlier language: why continuity matters, how the companion layer helps preserve direction across sessions, and how a reader can enter AI8 without first absorbing the full technical/governance paper.
bridgeoverview
Applied layer
AI8 Components
The component view of the system: how AI8 becomes working modules, not just a philosophical frame. This page is useful after the architecture paper because it shows how abstract ideas turn into operational pieces, interfaces, memory layers, review paths, and buildable structures.

Ontology, resonance, and future direction

These papers move upstream: from collaboration and architecture toward consciousness, existence, resonance, and the broader human future. The curated ACP collection is now the main public entry for this branch; the original papers below remain part of the CRP archive.

Curated collection
ACP — Absolute Consciousness Papers
The newer curated entry point for the AC line: upgraded papers, Atlas, and a cleaner public reading path. Start here if you want the refined consciousness bundle rather than the original archive pages.

Applied technical concepts and hardware directions

These are the concrete or simulation-ready hardware directions. SORA leads as the newest flagship concept; the DGTE / HTH / MGHB Arena is the evidence layer for the energy-device family; the individual device pages remain separate concept pages.

Interstellar infrastructure / simulation-ready architecture
SORA — Solar Orbital Ring Accelerator
A staged interstellar seed-probe architecture that treats the spacecraft as payload and the solar system as accelerator. The public version is deliberately gate-driven: powered node/arc coupling, encounter smoothness, detached bow-wall protection, destination seeding, and whole-stack closure must all survive simulation before feasibility is claimed.
interstellarsimulationgated architecture
Hardware evidence layer
DGTE / HTH / MGHB Arena
The current empirical bridge for the DGTE hardware family. v0.7a turns prior arena signals into bench-test priorities: HTH first for low-cost pressure validation, MGHB for wave-tank upside, pure DGTE crossover/lock/slice tests, and the water-sealed bell as a passive helper only.

Energy system
DGTE
Double-Gravity Thermoelectric Engine — the flagship hardware concept in this branch. It explores low-grade waste-heat recovery through gravity-assisted thermal cycling, with the main value proposition being access to temperature ranges that ordinary power systems usually cannot exploit economically.
energyengineering
Fluid / pressure concept
HTH
Horizontal Trompe Hybrid — a fluid/pressure architecture that extends old trompe logic into a terrain-aware horizontal system. Its strongest idea is not one isolated component, but the use of deeper flows, natural terrain curvature, and simple pressure mechanics as a practical energy and air-compression path.
fluid systemconcept
Hybrid engineering synthesis
DGTE × HTH Hybrid
A curated synthesis of the DGTE–HTH direction: design lanes, reference architecture, physics summary, kill tests, roadmap, and model-contribution appendix. Best read after DGTE and HTH when the reader wants the merged path: how waste heat, gravity cycling, hydraulic pressure, and compressed-air buffering could be evaluated as one hybrid engineering family.
hybridsynthesisnext-step concept
Marine / breakwater architecture
MGHB / HTH-WGPB
Marine Gravity Hybrid Breakwater / Horizontal Trompe Hybrid + Wave Gravity Piston Breakwater. This is the coastal-infrastructure branch: a smart breakwater that protects a harbor while trying to harvest part of the wave, hydrostatic, tidal, and pneumatic energy it already absorbs. Best positioned as energy-positive coastal protection, not as a miracle standalone wave engine.

Science / information structure
DNA
A biology-facing CRP page. It belongs in the applied research map as a bridge from information structure, life, and pattern logic toward the wider MDL × DCC research family.
